OK, this is weird...

...but is seems to me that John McCain is incapable of raising his arms over his head. Has anybody else noticed this? Like during his whole speech, his hands were seldom visible. And they never went over his shoulder.

Not a big deal, it's just curious, you know?

Also, I want to add that in 2000, he was my favorite Republican. But man, he's lost me since then. And it is shocking to me that the Republicans rely on a frightened and misinformed public to paint themselves as the party of change. They have had control of all three branches of our government for the better part of 8 years and are largely responsible for the deplorable state our country is in today. And that if they repeat a lie often enough, it will become true.

John Bush...I mean John McCain a reformer? He was one of the Keating 5. He says Obama will raise taxes, and that is true - but only on people making more than $250,000 per year. Most Americans will receive a tax reduction. The reality is we have had 8 years of the kinds of tax cuts on working Americans he talks about and it is killing us. Trickle down was never a good idea. And it never worked. Obama's Plan is progressinve, McCain's is regressive. I'm pulling this out of my butt, it's from the Tax Policy Center.

And he can talk all he wants about "empower(ing) parents with choice" in schools, it's still vouchers. And it's still privatization. And privatization benefits those who win the big contracts - like with prisons and the Iraq War.

Also, It's funny how a guy who is never going to win the coasts talks up off-shore drilling. I guess now that Jeb is out of office in Florida. I'm willing to consider off shore drilling AFTER we explore alternative energy sources. But the alternative energy sources need to come first.

There's more, but that's all I've got tonight.

Found out that it is in fact a disability - He can't do it. No offense was intended, and I hope none was taken by anyone. It was just an observation.

Maybe that's why he never gives up - he can't raise his hands to surender. When you hear that on Fox News or something, remember you read it hear first.
